Château Tour du Pas St. Georges 2015 St. Georges-St. Émilion
Experienced winemaker Pascal Dalbeck produces this red wine from a terrific property just North of the Barbane River. His wine has berried fruit aromas, which is ripe and soft with balance and length. Very deep garnet red. Nose is exotic, tarry, spicy. Very good attack, silky, ripe black fruit, good body, tannins very finely integrated. Youthful and supple, no awkward edges.
Robert Parker - "The 2015 Tour du Pas St Georges has a slightly pinched, but well-defined bouquet, with quite a strong Thai fish oil note developing in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with svelte, fine tannin and well-judged acidity. There is fine depth in the mouth with freshness and plenty of fruit on the finish. This is a very well crafted Saint George's Saint Emilion that comes recommended."
